BookBar Live X Everyday Racism
Join us for a BookBar X Everyday Racism event with founders of Everyday Racism, Naomi and Natalie Evans.
In their powerful book, The Mixed Race Experience, Natalie and Naomi Evans, founders of anti-racist advocacy and platform Everyday Racism, explore the complexities of mixed-race identities - from the discrimination endured by the 1.2 million mixed people in Britain and millions more elsewhere, to the privileges it can afford. Sharing their own personal experiences of growing up in Britain to illuminate the nuances of racial identity, they will also be sharing some of the insights from their book The Mixed Race Experience, including interviews with people from mixed backgrounds and in mixed relationships, research to dispel common myths and stereotypes and practical advice for mixed-race families and friendships.
Your ticket includes a copy of The Mixed Race Experience by Naomi and Natalie Evans (RRP: £14.99), which will be available for collection on the evening or can be collected or posted in advance of the event.
Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Please see our policy for further details.
