Join Philippa Found in conversation with Booker Prize-winner Bernardine Evaristo in an evening of candid conversation about female desire and shame, and the creation of Philippa's book It's Complicated.
As an artist, Philippa Found launched an anonymous submissions platform as a creative attempt to produce a portrait of modern love. But with more than 1,500 submissions, it quickly became about sharing and alleviating shame, forming a space where people shared the parts of relationships they don’t tell their friends, and certainly don’t post on Instagram. The candid, raw, unfiltered stories she received revealed a side of relationships we rarely see and generated a wave of more honest depictions of love and dating, and crucially showed that we’re never alone in the parts of dating we feel the most shame about.
These submissions eventually formed the basis of Phillipa's book It's Complicated. We can't wait to welcome Phillipa in conversation with Booker…
