About the event
We are welcoming Karishma Jobanputra to BookBar Islington to discuss her debut collection of short stories. The Body of the Thing, explores motherhood, body dysmorphia and eating disorders, and celebrates female desire in all its complicated wonder, and it's perfect for fans of Saba Sams, Julia Armfield, and Raven Leilani.
The bar will open at 6:30pm with the conversation starting at 7:00pm.
