This is an exploration of two of the most high-profile and vocal but unrecorded groups in the UK - the Black elite and the new, emerging Black middle class. Over the past 20 years, the expansion of the middle classes has reinvented Britain's old model of class. In that time, Black Britons have quietly risen to the pinnacle of some of the nation's most visible industries despite the dominant media narratives.
